I started Books & Brews

because I wanted to get serious on my readings and wanted to share my thoughts on it with different people. I’ve always loved reading books, I like taking a look at authors’ perspectives and at the same time, it’s kind of living different lives here and there.

In this blog you’ll find different genres of books, though I particularly enjoy fiction, fantasy, mystery, romance, and some self-help (though not always). Think of this as an online book club. Get to enjoy some books with me as I share with you my selection!

Of course, you can find snippets of my reviews on GoodReads. Although the blogs may be longer and more detailed here and there.

About Me

I’m a graduate of architecture from University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines but whilst I pursue my design career, I do enjoy reading for leisure. Despite reading for leisure, I tend to be analytical with it as with a lot of other things and so I found a reason to create this blog and enjoy reading much more in doing so.

Aside from this online book club, I’m currently running another blog called Girl Boss Architect which focuses on the Architecture lifestyle, partnered with a lifestyle online store.
